Brandy A. Boone, JD |General Counsel, Medical Association of the State of Alabama
Brandy obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Alabama and her juris
doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law. Brandy is the principal legal advisor for the
Association’s Board of Censors and officers. She also counsels and advises the Association’s Executive Director and
Department Heads, researches, reviews, and drafts legislation for the Association’s Government Relations and
Public Affairs Department, monitors, reviews, and comments on state regulations related to healthcare, and
provides guidance to the Association’s members on practice management issues. Brandy is a member of the
Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, American Society of Healthcare Risk Management,
Alabama Society of Healthcare Risk Management, and the American Society of Medical Association Counsel.
