Sheri Smith is a Senior Medical Practice Consultant at SVMIC. In this role, she advises physicians and their staff on topics related to Human Resource, Electronic Medical Records, Security Risk Analysis, Closing/Opening Practices, Harassment/Diversity, OSHA, and HIPAA. Her background includes over 25+ years in the medical industry in various roles including 12 years in Neurosurgical and Orthopedic practices. She also spent 6 years as an Executive Representative for an Electronic Health Record company selling and training on EHRs. Sheri is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives, has served on the Nashville MGMA Board, a Past President of the TMGMA and Past Chair of Presidents Council of TMGMA. Sheri is also a certified professional through the Society of Human Resource Management, SHRM.
