Cahaba Dermatology & Skin Health Center is looking for an experienced Practice Manager. Cahaba Dermatology is a multi provider and multi location full service medical and aesthetic dermatology practice and stand alone spa. Offices are in Hoover and Tuscaloosa. 

The Practice Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the office with a focus on providing patients with an outstanding experience and staff with a rewarding work place environment.

The following provides a selection of the core roles and responsibilities of Practice Manager. Additional roles and responsibilities will be outlined upon hire. This position reports to the Practice Administrator and Physician Owner. Human Resources: Employee development, performance and team morale Manage existing 3rd party HR partners such as payroll, benefits, and 401k Manage staffing, scheduling, employee recruitment, hiring, development and terminations Administrative Management: Oversee and mentor Assistant Practice Manager Develop and/or modify employee policies and practices to align with company mission, strategic goals, company advocacy and business performance Provide guidance and mentoring to ensure all employees achieve highest level of performance Provide positive enforcement and disciplinary actions as needed to ensure all employees comply Clinic Operations: Manage clinic flow and resolve issues that arise during clinic operations Ensure providers have all necessary resources Maintain efficient, effective, and cost conscious clinic staffing and flow. Marketing/Public Relations: Manage and/or coordinate with marketing personnel and efforts to ensure goal alignment Partner with Business Manager to spot opportunities and develop marketing plans to maximize opportunities and develop new ideas Maintain understanding of business performance and correlation with marketing initiatives to report ROI, lead generation, marketing speed efficiency and brand development Financial Oversight: Develop and maintain keen understanding of company financials Ensure bookkeeping and financial records are maintained Communicate at a high level with Business Manager regarding company financial performance across all levels Strategic Planning: Develop long term office initiatives to promote growth and development of business Participate and contribute to strategic planning initiatives and play key role driving plan forward and toward success Education and experience: An undergraduate degree in managment, business or related field of study and three to five years of healthcare management experience are required. Healthcare management experience may be substituted for formal education.
